THE ARTIST

Hi there!

I am Raisa.  I am a painter, fine artist, living in Manhattan Beach, California with my husband and our two boys.

 The mystery of the ocean and thick fog of early mornings here on the west coast inspire me to paint, making me utterly captivated by Californian coastal living.

Oil on canvas knows me better than anyone else, it is not only my friend but also a very tough and honest critic.  Through painting, I am expressing my mood and my emotions.  Fine art has always been my passion and now it is my purpose to create and share my craft with you.

As an artist, I spend my time walking along the beach bringing seemingly unrelated objects, colors and textures together to create impactful art.
